CCL shies away from responsibility

Mandu block, Jharkhand | Basanti Soren

Nearly 25 kms of road between Charhi and Ramgarh is in bad shape. The repair and upkeep of this road is the responsibility of Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL). Coal Dumper trucks use this road frequently. Monsoon ruined the already sordid state of the road even more. The hapless villagers have no other alternative than this road. Travelers have a hard time commuting on this road because of the huge potholes and slurry surface. The CCL makes crores of rupees in profits daily, yet they never bother to take stock of the condition of this road.

Community correspondent Basanti wants to bring the terrible condition of the road to the CCL's notice in a way that they can't shy away from. Please call the General Manager, Mr. Prakash Chandra on 8987784281 and ask him to ensure that the Charhi – Ramgarh road is fixed immediately.
